What does a coaching session look like?

A typical coaching session is 90 minutes and is guided by our CTJ agenda. We meet via video, phone or in-person. In the session we access where you are, how you're performing in your role, identify your current top issues and discuss solutions. We then dive into the scheduled training or tailor the training to fit your current needs.
What if I have an emergency?

Some advice is needed now, not in two weeks. In these cases, you contact us with your situation, and we do a consulting call. Coaching clients get first priority on consulting calls.
How long do people normally get coached?

Professional athletes get coached as long as they’re playing the game. Leaders should be no different. However, as a leader grows, the type of coaching will change. 5:16 Leader Coaching can last from 6 months to years. Our current training program has 104 sessions, which would take approximately 2 years to complete. Our goal is to graduate you. However, leadership accountability never ends. 5:16 coaches offer high level accountability and ensure you have an accountability structure in place before you graduate.
How does scheduling work?

You will choose from one of our available time slots and keep the same time for each session.
Can I take a break from coaching and pick back up later?

Yes, once you finish your committed sessions, you can take a break and pick back up at a later date based on availability.
What if I miss a session or need to reschedule?

You’re busy. It happens. If you miss a session, have to cancel with less than 24 hours notice or are not able to reschedule with an available slot, you will miss that session. You will receive the training content, but no refund will be given. If you need to reschedule prior to 24 hours of your session, you can choose from a make-up time slot.
What about my COO?

Our system is designed for you to use the same material and coach your COO. However, if you prefer, we can coach your COO directly. Our COO coaching is slightly different from the CEO coaching to match the COO role.
In person vs. Online?

Your choice. Our standard pricing is for online coaching via Zoom or Teams. We can do in-person if you’re within 80 miles of our office, for an additional charge.
What if I don't like it?

If you are not satisfied with the quality of our coaching or we’re just not a fit, you can fire us and we will refund your payment from that point forward. You are not stuck in a contract if it’s not working for you. We guarantee your satisfaction. If you're not pleased, we're not either.
What if I'm not a Christian?

No problem. 5:16 Coaching is not church or Sunday school. It’s hardcore leadership and business coaching based on the leadership model Jesus gave us. If you have a fundamental problem with Jesus’ leadership model, we’re probably not a fit.
I just need help with business, not family and personal. Is that a problem?

No problem. We’re glad you’ve got your personal life all figured out. But we cannot separate it. Your leadership involves all areas of your life. Spiritual, Personal and Professional. We help you balance all three without prying or pushing.
Is this leadership training only? What about my business problems?

5:16 coaching is leadership training and business advice. Leadership is more than theory, it’s execution. We help you identify and solve problems along with growing your leadership.
Do you work with pastors?

Yes. Most pastors are the CEO of the church. We have a passion for church growth and actively coach pastors and ministry leaders.
How do I sign up?

You don’t sign up, you apply. To ensure success, it’s critical that we are a fit before partnering. Here’s the steps: 1. Complete an application. 2. We will contact you to schedule an exploratory call. (Remember you’re interviewing us as much as we’re interviewing you.) 3. If we’re a go, sign and send the coaching agreement. 4. Schedule your time slot and start date.
